Fitzroy house

This Edwardian terrace was Jane's first home and Pipkorn Kilpatrick's first job. It had loads of charm and beautiful original detailing so much of the existing footprint was restored and only the add-on kitchen and bathroom (with its coffin-shaped shower) replaced. The new bathroom shifted to the opposite side of the house to create a flow-through from front door to backyard and to give the shower and bath access to the greenery of the courtyard. The new centre of the house became the light-drenched kitchen/dining area whose large bi-fold doors extend the entertaining space to the back fence in warmer months. The house has a natural relaxed feel although the marble kitchen bench top and charcoal panelled wall add elegance.

We've all called it home (at different stages) and are feeling very nostalgic as it may soon have a new owner.
